HERBOLOGY
Part of our mission at Bethany's Freedom Garden of Wellness is educating the community we serve about the power of incorporating medicinal herbs into your daily life. Nature's medicine is one of the most precious gifts from God. However, before introducing them into your regimen, you must have a clear understanding of their properties, and discuss it with your healthcare provider. Misusing medicinal herbs, roots, edible flowers and even essential oils can cause more harm than good.
We are a subsidiary of Bethany's Hope and Community Support. A non-profit organization on a mission to bring emotional, mental and spiritual support to those living with Chronic Illnesses and Autoimmune Diseases. All of the medicinal herbs, edible flowers, and roots we organically and sustainably grow have been extensively researched for the medicinal properties that aid many of the health conditions plaguing God's people.
Nervine & Adaptogen Herbs
Nervines are herbs that specifically help support the Nervous System, including the Brain and nerves. They support and nourish the nervous system to restore balance and rest. They are generally divided into three categories': nervine relaxants, nervine stimulants, and nervine tonics. Your nervous system connects and communicates with everything else in the body. Pairing nervines with other specific medicinal herbs which target those systems brings you the overall benefit. Adaptogens, for example are herbs that support our bodies natural response to stress, anxiety, fatigue and even pain. Pairing Nervines and Adaptogens are a powerful combination medicinally. Let's take a look at some of the Nervines and Adaptogens we grow in the garden.
We grow a vast arrange of medicinal herbs, roots and edible flowers in the Freedom Garden. Always with one mission. To bring you a whole-listic alternative to better health. Check out the other unique, and beneficial herbs, and edible flowers we are organically growing!
This fall we are planting Reishi mushrooms, and Asian Ginseng! We will be offering them both in Tincture forms!
